In 2002 our friend Lance Young, from Mississippi, died after a short illness. He was a great singer songwriter and lived in the Netherlands for just a year. On our yearly Big Barrel Blues festival we had a tribute. Songs of Lance were performed by KC.& Son from Holland and Waymon 'Butermilk' Meeks (USA). They rehearsed the songs of Lance. Robert Burton Hubele sang 'Stormy Monday', a favorite song of Lance. We thank all these artists for their performances.
