This is a page from "Pono Loa" created by Stephen Smirl, drawn by my fiancé, Renae De Liz, and inked, colored, and lettered by me. I've done a quick time lapse video, because flatting can be pretty tedious, but I wanted to talk about some of my methods.
First of all, I am inking and coloring in Photoshop CS with an Axiotron ModBook (that's an Apple Tablet PC).
Most of the time, I'm using the pen and paint bucket tools, but occasionally, you might see me selecting areas in the inks and they appear to fill instantly. I'm actually hitting F1, which is coded to play an pre-recorded action. This is a great time saver. It takes the selection I make, expands it, and fills it.
The other important thing to note is that I am saving my steps in the channels. Once I have the panels filled, I copy all and paste into a new channel. I repeat this with the figures and finally with all the details. That way, if I want to change the lightness or overall color of a figure or an entire panel, I can select it very easily.
If you have any questions, let me know. I'll soon be posting a video of color rendering on one of these pages, too.

This is another cell-phone video. A little more in depth, but the same quality. I do a quick rough painting of a goblin and ramble. This is using the Apple Tablet PC (or ModBook) by Axiotron. Go to http://axiotron.com/ to learn more. And to see this full image that I'm painting, go to http://raydillon.com/Images/Sketches/Sketchbook-2009/YouTubeGoblin.jpg
Eventually, I'll get some more in depth and better quality videos going. As I do full pages of comic art or paintings.
Thanks fer lookin'!

This is a real Yeti ...
No, that's not true. This is a costume that my fiance Renae De Liz created for me a few Halloween's ago. And that is me humming Michael Jackson's thriller and dancing awesome.
Just quick video to show an example of inking with the ModBook Tablet computer (aka, best thing ever!) I'll post some better videos at some point. First time ever uploading a video. Oh, and it's recorded with my phone so sorry if the quality is bad.
