Newborn manatee....two weeks old....already hit three times!!! It was very difficult to video the new mom and baby due to the hundreds of swimmers/boats in the area. The river was so dirty due to all the activity in the area. I video taped from a great distance...telephoto to avoid scaring the already terrified baby.

Albino manatee looking for food to sustain needed body temp during a long 28 degree night. Fisherman demand law makers to "groom" the river to keep "invading" growth from tangling their fishing lines. Hey guys, did you ever think about the manatees? They would love to groom the river every winter and for free ...now they just starve. Pay to poison the river and starve the tees....good thinking!
