"Ass Pirates from Beyond the Grave" This is the story of bros who go down to the beach, to get themselves some wenches, and to drink some beers. However, what they find at the beach is their worst nightmares come to life! The film was produced, directed, written, mixed, and edited by Jonathan Martin (www.bohemianindustries.net) for no profit, but for pure entertainment. It was purposely done as B-movie entertainment, taking generously from the grindhouse style of filmmaking. The film was shot and colored by Paul Varela. Makeup effects were done by Richard Newman. The cast and crew include Michael Birkeland (Shooting Star), Mike Hamill (Troll 2), Wes Tolman, Alex Winger, Jordan Kenney, Brendan Kenney, Brad Metcalf, Jonathan Martin, Richard Newman, Paul Jaegar, Jerry Tebbs, Fernanda Bohme, Hayley Hough, Elsa Taveras Powell, Rachel Isaacson, Isaac Rush, John Patzold, Justin Pehrson, Richard Teasdale, and Lexi Monni. The film was made in Provo and Orem, Utah on a Panasonic HVX-200. No lenses were used, and all effects were done in post on final cut pro.
