This final demonstration concludes nearly 40 minutes of thorough discussions on a systematic approach to conventional forcible entry, the proper use and placement of the Halligan tool, proper striking techniques and door control. The full speed demonstration brings everything together to demonstrate how a well-trained forcible entry team with a plan of attack will defeat any door encountered. We preface this demonstration with "this is how it should look if mom is screaming that her kid is trapped in the fire apartment!" After the demonstration, each student practices their techniques on the Halligan AND the axe (as a striking firefighter) at BOTH an inward opening door AND an outward opening door.
