The VC30-212 consists of a twin channel preamp configuration, housing a clean volume and drive volume, with a global 3 band EQ. The clean channel remains so almost up to maximum volume, where is breaks up in the perfect pleasant way that you can only get from pushing an EL84 hard. Drive wise the VC30 has it's roots in the blues. Add an overdrive pedal and the gain really sings.
