This is the pilot for my original game show concept, "Five to 1." Footage, concept, graphics and all other associations of the concept are exclusive property of Chad Mosher and may not be duplicated without consent. This was recorded July 31, 2009. If you watch, please leave me with your praises, your constructive criticisms and any other comments you have.
Below are the rules and format of the game:
Round 1 The show starts out with five people as potential contestants. The first three people to buzz in and answer three no-choice questions correctly get to move on to the next stage of the game. Each correct answer is worth $100. If a contestant buzzes in, and answers it incorrectly, he receives no penalty, but the question is open for the remaining players. The losers receive whatever cash they won in this round, with a $100 minimum.
Round 2 In this round, the contestants each start with their $300 from round one. There will be a set of twenty, three-choice questions. The two people who have the most questions right after all questions have been read will be declared the winner. Each question is valued at $100. No penalty for incorrect guesses. If no one gives an answer during a question, the question will count as one of the twenty questions, and no money is awarded. The loser will receive their total at the end of this round, with a $500 minimum.
Round 3 In this round, even if they are not equal amounts, the two contestants start the round with their earnings after round two. A clock is set for 3:00. When the clock starts, the host will read a question with no choices. After (or while) the question has been read, any of the players may buzz in. The person who buzzes in with the right answer first has $250 added to his score. If a contestant buzzes in with an incorrect answer, he loses $250 and his opponent can still try to answer. Negative scores are possible to obtain. If a question is read and no one buzzes in within three seconds of the reading, a buzzer will be sounded, the answer will be given, and the next question will be read. If time runs out in the middle of a question reading, the game is over. The contestant who wins the game will go to the bonus round and have their winnings placed into a "Safe that can never be lost. The loser simply leaves with his winnings from the round. The house minimum for any player to receive is $1,000.
The Bonus Round rules would not fit in this space. :(

Here I am playing on CBS's "Million Dollar Password"! It was recorded on August 4, 2008 and it aired on December 21, 2008. I'm playing against April Helliwell - but only one can go to play for $1,000,000. Who will it be? (Feel free to read about my experience of the show at my website - ChadMosher.com!)
