Originally appearing on my 3rd album as a full band arrangement, NEW HORIZONS is now a solo piano piece. It was also included on my latest album, "Groovidi", as the third tune in the medley known as "Afterthoughts". In this video, I play a truncated version recorded at my piano teaching studio. Hope that you enjoy listening to it as much as I liked playing it!

Originally written in 1977, this "Tone Poem" is one of 9 that I wrote back in the day. Using an ostinato bass, I did some improvisation over the top of it in a "stream of consciousness" type of thing. This version is a short one designed to minimize loading time and it was recorded on our old piano at home. Hope that you enjoy it!
