I think Nigeria got the best dance music in da club that I have ever heard and damn it crowded as hell and very, very big. One of the best. So this is a contiunation of our night at the club.Whats cool about this video is you can't really see much at firstm, cuz its got the whole ambience going on, whats was pretty surreal for me is hearing the same music to livin up the club that I hear every where in the U.S. this song gets on my last nerve, but it has to go down as the party starter song of the decade cuz it gets people hype every where in the World. check it out.
Same night, getting ready to go out in Naija, at Jide's crib, pre club warmup.. My buddy Sunny who came over every tuesday to talk about inspiration and give me some African history lessons.. shout out to 721 Road C close..
3 hours or so driving from Festac Town to Leke on (Victoria Island) which was suppose to be like a 45 minute drive The traffic is the craziest sH**t I've ever seen in my entire life.. I wish I had that video to show you, cuz its unbelievable. Bumper to Bumper, and I do mean Bumper to Bumper. so this is when we pulled over to gather our composure.
So about 15, 17 or 20 of us going in the Club together in Africa, We all hyped, ready to "ATL" (thats a dance in Nigeria) and , my Jeff who drove us to the club, couldnt even get till about 45 minutes later, no explanation, just the same buuuuullllll sshh***t with the door man, that happens in the club in America!!! From Africa to America , the door man always got to feel like hes got the power, ya know...
This was my first week in Africa, we were outside of the club waiting for more people and ran into some of my friends homeboys from London, taking pictures and gettin in some film, Shout out to my homeboy Jide, shout out to Jeff, Uche, Steve, Narro and all the rest of the people who showed me a great time.
