Once a nurse/missionary with SIM in Nigeria for 4 1/2 years, Erin Rigsby cared for many orphans and former street children. Her passion for at risk kids in Nigeria continued even after acquiring a lung condition that would bring her back home to Chicago for surgery. In December 2008, Moody Church raised $76,500 for City Ministries Nigeria. This is her video report to the church of how this money was spent.

While recording their first major label record, two young musicans take a short side trip and decide to visit an alluring government decommissioned supply warehouse. Deep inside the dusty dinge, Steven and Lorin find a maze-work of hallways and aisles filled with empty VX Gas canisters, dormant rocketry, and other unknown biohazards. After they stumble upon a suspicious looking lot, Lorin finds himself enraged with a growing insanity. Will Lorin defeat the enemy within? Will Steven escape the lurking dangers of this omnimous deathtrap? From start to finish, you'll be on the edge of your seat, looking over your shoulder and counting the slow 28 minutes that only seem like about 5!

We believe that hope is viral. In September 2009, the band 1000 Generations released this video for their song "Fail Us Not" (from their album "Turn Off the Lesser Lights"). Here's an unreleased live demo of one of our favorite new songs live and unplugged with Steven and Lorin. We recorded this little diddy for you during mixing the new album at David Bianco's (Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, U2, yada, yada) studio in LA, CA.

Lorin takes an early lunch one day after teaching percussion students. He finds out that eating a turkey wrap can be very influencial musically.

A video blog of 1000 Generations recording and mixing their new album, "Turn Off The Lesser Lights". All studio sessions can get a little boring at times and this video blog reveals how 1000 Generations ignores that obstacle. Creativity, imagination and a sense of humor is what it takes when you spend hours and hours in a closed building with zero windows! Oh, and limitless coffee always helps too!

Right after Christmas 2008, we took off for a 3 month tour in California! I've always wanted to drive across country and this video is a collage of our travels and shows as a band through Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Nevada, and finally California!
