mike plume band on Good Day Alabama...03/22/2001. I had been in NYC with Jenny and had just arrived back in Nashville at 3 in the morning. At 5 in the morning my manager called to say that we had a morning show on FOX in B-Ham..... "Nobody told me!!!" I said. "Sorry, buddy. It's just that you weren't here and I guess it slipped my mind till last night." said my manager. "Well let's cancel it.... we'll never make it." I said. "We can't do that." he said. "Why not?" "The rest of the guys are already there" said my manager. "Shit...well alright.....whatever....Jenny...wake up, we gotta go to Birmingham" We did Nashville to Birmingham in 2 hours flat.....185 miles! We got stuck in traffic. Made it to the studio. Parked in front of the studio with the 4 way flashers on. Made it to the rooftop as the director was saying...."In 5.... 4.... 3... 2.....1. Crazy times but it makes for a good story.
