Ellen Bukstel is an award-winning singer/songwriter I perform with sometimes. She was invited to play at Barack Obama's rally in Miami and asked me, my drummer and keyboard player to join her. This is NOT a political endorsement of any kind, just music :)
This was at the end of the night. Most of the people were already on the busses ready to go back to campus but these troopers didn't want to leave until there was no more music to be played.... the way it should be!
This is the second half of Tales of Higher Learning and then happy birthday for one of the girls. Then we had to sing it for 2 more other people once they realized we would do that. Sound quality is minimal since the camera was so far back but at least you get some conversation from Scotty Sacks, the man with the cam.
Alpha Delta Pi is a sorority at University of Florida and they had me come play at their woodser which is a date function out in the middle of the woods where everyone gets falling down drunk and yeah that's pretty much it. But it's a rockin' good time and this show was one of the most fun we''ve every played.
We were in a barn, using a flatbed truck as the stage and fighting off the drunk college kids who wanted to climb all over the stage after every song. And although they seemed to love whatever we played they kept yelling for Freebird... all night long... and it wasn't a joke. Only in Gainesville...
This is the second half of A Lesson In Freud. Audio quality isn't great cuz it's from a digital camera but at least you get the vibe.
