Cordero, introduce their new video as "a dance song about the end of the world." We are playing with the fate of the planet and its people. "There is a game of Russian roulette being played with our world," front woman Ani Cordero sings, as a red, silk ribbon snakes through the quiet forest floor. Nature is starting to disappear. Ani sings to the forest, "You've no idea how sorry I am." The band stands at the edge of the world, as video artists Sophia Jackson and Rob Featherstone recreate a modern version of the Greek myth of Moirae, three mythical creatures at the edge of the world who measure out fate the way a spinner measures out a thread. 'De donde eres' is out now on Bloodshot Records.
