The 9th Annual Latin Grammy Awards nominations were announced September 10, 2008 at a press conference attended by national and international media at the House of Blues, Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Esai is featured announcing the nominations for best album. Also included are Buika, Lila Downs, Flex, Kany Garca, Gustavo Santaolalla, and Ximena Sariana
The story centers around veteran assassin Mark Shields (Ray Liotta)as he tracks down, Pelon (Esai Morales), the elusive head of the Salazar Crime Cartel.
