This is the OFFICIAL Pit Reporter Minkus' Warped Tour Pre-Premiere party for the Warped Tour 15th Anniversary theatrical event coming out on Sept 17th! Remember, this is a one night only showing- and will also be my movie debut so come party and watch the movie with me! DAY 43- MOUNTAIN VIEW DENNYS ALLNIGHTER. August 20, 2009. This was our last Denny's Allnighter at Warped this summer! We had Sing It Loud, This Providence, Attack Attack, Devil Wears Prada, VersaEmerge and Madina Lake.

DAY 42- FRESNO. August 19, 2009

If you haven't noticed through the pit blogs, Warped Tour is very eco-friendly. We are a green tour, we recycle everything from batteries to guitar strings and our plastic wear in catering is even made out of corn starch. Needless to say, we do what we can when it comes to our geographic footprint. This is the 3rd year that Warped has worked with organizations in the Monterey Bay area to organize a clean up. This time, we had a few sites that different teams went to. One was park beautification, one was storm drain cleaning and the one I went to was native planting. We worked with the organization Return Of The Natives to put native plants back into the Carmel River water shed. The area was an artichoke field decades ago and pesticides are still in soil. Planting what is supposed to be there neutralizes the pesticides as well as absorbs more water so there is less run off of pollutants into the water. We had 4 or 5 different types of plants that were raised by the disabled and schools throughout the community- and no shortage of people to plant them. We had Kevin and his daughter, Sarah and Paul of 4Fini, TAT, Therefore I Am, The A.K.A.s, the Babycakes crew, Tim of Alternative Press, Rob with Skate 4 Cancer, Luis from Denny's, Jasmine with Reverse Day Care, some non-profits and more all working together on it. Within and hour and a half, we planted over 800 plants. It averages out to about 22 plants per person. I'm convinced that's some sort of record somewhere. Afterward we were lead in a conversation about how we can use our voice to educate and inform others about helping each other and the environment. I think a good quote Laura said today was "we don't need to be people as consumers, we need to be people as citizens of the world." It was more than just planting and getting a little dirty. We became part of that community. What we did is actually going to make a difference in that water shed and for the endangered species there.

All Time Low was not on the first leg of Warped Tour when the tour hit SF at the start of the tour but they are out now and will be hitting the Bay Area with the 8/20 show in Mountain View at the Shoreline Amp. Tickets are on sale now so come out and enjoy the day
