This video was filmed in Prescott and Seligman Arizona. I wrote this song after a real life experience with a gang shooting across the street from our house in California in which a five year old child was caught in the crossfire and killed. The song is meant to be a social commentary with a two fold meaning. On the one hand, the song is meant to provoke and shame the listener to question why we tolerate this kind of behavior as evident on the 6 o’clock news every day. The song also suggests that, back since the days of the old wild west, this just might be the way we’ve always settled things.
