Louis Den League starts very soon!, the league qualifiers saw us return to the Dope Ass Beat homeworks by having producers submit a random pre-league beat to decide their places...Although the deadline wasnt the date of the session we decided to still meet up and play what beats we had recevied. This week producers had to submit a 3 layered beat (similar to a club sandwich) using samples from Notorious BIG, Big Pun and Big L. Tough challenge but some nice beats!. Joining us in the lab are Kosyne, Kelakovski, Eyebs, Dockmini, Myke Forte, Knownaim and Mr Brown.

50th LOUIS DEN EPISODE!!!, to tie in with it being our 50th ep the weeks theme was to flip anything related to the number or word fifty, producers had to draw a link to their sample using this and come up with a fresh beat. This week in the lab we had to recreate that Dirty South sound and draw from influences of the sub genre, in the lab we had Kosyne, Kelakovski, Eybes & Myke Forte some real nice beats in the session, see how we all got on.

This weeks chalenge was to use sounds from the Roger Linn "Linn Drum" drum machine which was the precusor to the legendary MPC, cheesy 80's drums ahoy (although they are ill) as producers had to not only use the kit provided but also sample an artist who made use of the machine back in the day!. In the lab are Kosyne, Kelakovski, Eyebs, Darren Paul, Raul Supreme & Dockmini!! for once the whole regular squad all in the same room!!.. Check out the beats!.

This week the challenge was to make a beat to the sound of the mid 90's Queensbridge era. Capture that Mobb Deep, Nas, Screwball sound... See who did what! ab.

The challenge this week was to transform cheesy pop boyband music into fresh new blaps!, tough work as heads digged from the proper pop cheeese whilst others used more r&b boyband..either way flaaaames for the ears. In the session are Kosyne, Kelakovski, Raul Supreme, Eyebs, Myke Forte and Seph.

Episode 40, Soaps and Sitcoms!; this week ldbb heads had to flip music from either famous Soaps or Sitcoms,joining us in the lab are Kosyne,Kelakovski,Eyebs (with lil sis!), Raul Supreme,Dockmini and Seph.

First session of 2009!, this week everyone had to make fresh new beats using the original Street Fighter 2 soundtrack, in the lab were Kosyne, Kelakovski, Raul Supreme, Dockmini, Knox Brown, Seph and Peaks!. ROUND ONE...FIGHT!

This week the challenge was to flip anything 80's related, so this meant 80's samples, using 80's synths or even just going for an 80's vibe; we gave the producers a lot of room to work with so see what they did!!. In the session were Kosyne, Kelakovski, Raul Supreme & Dockmini.

This week the challenge was for the beatmakers to create a slow jam or smoothed out beat basically anything on the mellow or chilled vibe or even r&b!. Back after a short break!, for this challenge we decided to draw inspiration from Kanye West on 60 minutes where he demonstrated a "DOPE ASS BEAT", just to get back in the swing of things we asked the ldbb beat makers to submit a new beat from the stash nothing more nothing less!! in the lab were Kosyne, Kelakovski, Eyebs, Raul Supreme, Dockmini, DJ Pinnacle Peaks, Curio, Devas, DJ Konn and Lars

In the lab before a short break from the regular beat battles; the ldbb crew had to flip a Francis Lai sample "Plus Fort Que Nous" from the Soundtrack Un homme et une femme. For the session are Kosyne, Kelakovski, Eyebs & Raul Supreme.
