Todd Carlstrom - Todd Carlstrom & the Clamour--Studio II

More of TC & the C doing "Her Alien Chemistry". Here we're trying to figure out if a bassline of Evan's is in key. I play and sing along a bit, although you can only see me from the chin down (I put the camera down on the table).

Todd Carlstrom & Clamour--in studio

We're working on our first EP as a band at Momek Studios with a guest bassist, Evan Silverman who's featured here. You'll also see Eric Shaw (drummer), Todd, and engineer Ofer Tiberin.

I'm Amazed by Todd Carlstrom & the Clamour

01:28
A live cover of the Pixies classic. Yeah, I'm using a lyric sheet, what's it to ya? I've been listening to this band for over fifteen years, but really, not so much for their lyrics. Anyway, it was for a Pixies tribute night, part of Boog City's Classic Albums Live. That night we did Surfer Rosa and Doolittle. Our three songs were this, "Brick Is Red", and "Debaser", our absolute fave. We also got video of that, but it cut out halfway through (memory card full). This is guitarist Brian Elmquist's first show with us. Gotta throw my hands up in the air RE: sound issues; that's the best we're gonna do with my crappy camera.

Her Alien Chemistry (acoustic) --Me and TJ

04:31
This is an acoustic performance of "Her Alien Chemistry" taken from a test filming of the show Bandemonium, filmed by Benjamin Leavitt. There was also an interview segment with comedian Mike Dobbins where we played Twister and I got a face-ful of TJ's ass-crack. Really good times. We didn't rehearse this beforehand, and the found percussion wasn't our idea, but it's a fun little clip nevertheless. Produced by Nick from Seaworthy Films. I forget his last name.
