YUCA's "Ghosts" was written in England in the winter of '08. Just after the song came to life we filmed Matt acoustically and posted the very first demo of the song from the UK to share with you the process of making music with YUCA. The response was brilliant and we appreciated hearing the great feedback so we decided to let you all into the YUCA studio to see how Ghosts has progressed. Sitting here in the YUCA office I'm staring out the window and can see the snow falling down and blanketing the ground making today truly feel like Christmas. As we were leaving the rehearsal studio last night Dave said "it smells like snow" and he was right. Before my head hit the pillow it started coming down and hasn't stopped yet. There's something magical about snow and how it can bring even the oldest scrooge back to their childhood memories of laughing and playing in the snow with dear friends. Thats the spirit of Christmas - loving and laughing, sharing and giving...thats why we love this season so much. It brings us all back to a place where we remember whats important in life. The ones around us we truly love, care for, cherish and are grateful for them in our lives. This Christmas we want to thank you all for giving us (YUCA) your time and support throughout the years by coming out to all the shows, buying our CD's and merch and for sharing our music with the world.
