This video is to accompany a blog I will be starting this week about a style of music I am labeling "Chaos Theory".

Dedicated to / in honour of my cat "Tiggs" who left us a few days ago. He was a large part/member of the family . I was not prepared for how important he was to me. This is my way of dealing with the grief/pain/hole that I have, and perhapsl as a way to celebrate his life. R. I. P. Tiggy Tiggs you are very much loved and missed.

.. Ongoing blog, As mentioned yesterday, I started seeing the song come together and have put together a rough draft of where the final song will be. I will have to redo some of the drums but thought that it was important to leave the warts and all in to give a true picture of the process. I will be upping the speed to 300 and there will be some other changes by the time the piece is finished (can't give it all away :)), The next blog will be a different piece,.. [less]

... After several days of practice I think I've finally nailed the "bass solo" section on drums. It's finally achieving that propulsion/texture that I wanted. Have to admit there was a point where I almost gave up. I was wondering "Am I ever going to get this!!!". Still can't do the song in one take, but for the time being it's not that important as I can now hear the song finally coming together. Time for some vocals tomorrow... I am so digging Spizzichino Cymbals!! (just had to say it)

...Couldn't sleep much so I was up at 7:00 am and went into the studio to pratice bringing the song up to speed (in the video I am still in my pijamas). Pretty happy for although I am hanging on by the seat of my pants I managed to get it up to tempo. Hoping to have drums to this song complete tomorrow :)
