In "Fitz and the Dizzy Spells," Andrew Bird emerges amidst a monotonous urban wasteland to send a signal flare to the laboring masses below his rooftop perch, who dutifully abandon their mundane duties. Drawn to an anonymous hideout in their ridiculous uniforms, they shed them in favor of something more festive. Strapping on their instruments, they join Andrew and band for a raw run through of the song, adding brass to pageantry and caterwaul to catharsis. Audio Recorded live at the Hideout in Chicago, December 14 and 15, 2008. Directed by Digitelio. Concept and Story by Sharon Lanza.

My vid put to Dark Matter. Give it a chance. Like the song, it starts slow and works toward the crescendo. Amazing song. Thanks AB, MD, JY - my favorite players.
