Kimara does a sword dance about 6 minutes into this vid. It's pretty amazing! This video is from a small wedding reception at the Sand Pearl Hotel in Clearwater, FL. Dancing, drumming, and then the sunset. We love celebratory events like wedding receptions, birthday parties, graduations, performances, festivals, and corporate events. We provide interactive performances around the Clearwater, and Tampa area. We offer a dynamic show that is a blend of hand drumming, dancing fusion, and organic live interactive entertainment that includes the audience. Please visit us at drumcircles.net

A clip from my 2 hour DVD, 101 Drum Circle Rhythms for the Hand Drum. It is 15 bucks. I include a free drum circle CD with purchase.
Please visit Drumcircles.net for more info.
Check out the drum circle finder while you are there & locate the drumcircles closest to you.
The 101 Rhythms DVD is great for drumming out at the drum circle, for belly dancers, fire dancers, hula hoopers, or just jamming by yourself.
A clip from the 3 hour Mardi Gras drum circle.
Lots of great energy, belly dancers, and loads of fun drumming. This jam featured a Scottish bag piper who drifted in after the parade. Pretty cool!

Here's how I get that elusive "moose call" sound out of a conga drum. It adds a great new dimension of sound, (almost a changing voice) to your conga drum.
I am playing a set of LP's Latin Percussion "Patato" congas with Evans synthetic conga heads on them. It also works on cowhide drum heads.
It takes a few tries to master it, but once you do, you will love adding it into a riff, or enhancing a song's flavor. A cool move for out at the drum circle. Always gets an Ohh or Ahh form somebody.
The only thing is, the video is pretty grainy, & very poor quality. So try to minimize the video screen as much as possible to see it the best.
Enjoy! It's a very cool move that was taught to me many years ago. It's almost a trade secret. Bees wax is the trick to doing it easily. You can get a big block at online auctions for like $10. It will last forever.
If you are having trouble calling the meese, try loosening the low conga head a little. A guy taught me a long time ago to tune the congas to the 2 notes in "Here Comes The Bride" (hopefully it ain't a moose)
Check out my other video of 101 drum circle rhythms.
It's a 2 hour DVD of hand drum rhythms for $15 delivered anywhere in the USA. It is better quality video!
Just visit Drumcircles.net for a video sample. Thanks
