Pepi Ginsberg's new video for 'Shake This' stars The Go Go Power Rangers, a dance crew of high schoolers from Los Angeles, who have recently been profiled in the LA Times and LA Weekly(http://articles.latimes.com/2009/jun/14/entertainment/ca-jerkin14 http://www.laweekly.com/2009-08-06/music/we-8217-re-jerkin-8217/). The dancers are pioneers in the jerkin' movement, also recently profiled in the New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/21/arts/music/21boyz.html). Pepi was introduced to the group via a friend's youtube recommendation, where the boy's fan base is rapidly growing. She and director Gian Mazcour reached out to the boys to collaborate and in a matter of weeks the musician, dancers, and a film crew were in Culver City shooting the video. An inspired, and ultimately successful union of two worlds, the Shake This video is a beautiful portrait of a day in the life of the power rangers, set to Pepi's song, in an exciting documentary style.
