McNally Smith student Andrew asked me to play a short solo to test his new mp3 camcorder.
So, I improvised a bit of my concept of "rhythmelodics," employing structure & form with themes, contrast, sequencing and a bit of melodic & harmonic coordination using a 3:2 polyrhythm ostinato at the drumset - also stressing that making music should be fun - all in a quick minute thirty!
