This is punk rock, Deep Fur playing a new song, first up in rehearsal (22.06.09). It could have fallen apart but doesn't quite. The live sound is rough, but eminently suitable for the song. I guess the old camcorder couldn't be expected to cope with the volume of the rehearsal room...

Purr is a rolling alternative/ reggae type thing captured live in rehearsal in Lewisham in 2007.... and yes, this Deep Fur song actually is about Cats....

Live at the George The IV Chiswick. A benefit gig for Hounslow Animal Welfare Society. We added captions and some silly visual effects over the original camcorder footage...

Sam had been partying for a few days before he turned up to this rehearsal..... We couldn't wake him so the rest of the rehearsal he continued to lay accross the kit.... of course at the next rehearsal he was brilliant.

Deep Fur''s first gig was an open air festival in 2004!. It was called the Tallington Ashes and organised by Josef Porter of Blyth Power . Maybe not the best quality but this is early rare footage, captured using an ancient video camera, by the French Animator and Cartoonist Damian Tasker !
