International troupe of composers and performers will engage you in a neo-futurist spectacle. In a series of sets, live electronics and physical labor will conjure up ambient soundscapes and polyrhythmic beats full of musical colors.

in this improvisation, the voice of the assasinated president of Chile Salvador Allende, make an interesting touch in the caleidoscopic rithm and armonics of the soundscape.... enjoy it!

We are all aware that water can do amazing things. Aside from being essential to all life on Earth, water makes up most of the Earth’s surface. Water also provides sound waves. With power like that it should come as no surprise that water , for UOM , is also a source for Music . enjoy

Synergy exhibition was a multimedia installation and art exhibition, 6 artist, very busys, by the way, and the UNprecedent appearance of UOM, an experimental music bad, that Blow your butt, and all of this for Free. Four guys banging on copper pipes at random intervals... unpredictable harmonics and echoes: not exactly your grandmother's idea of music.

These are very exciting days for UOM. Our improvisations are now including real time looping, a variety of analog and digital sound sources, and tons of effects. But, most importantly, we have become accomplices in each other's natural musicianship. We can no longer use the term "rehearsal" for something that feels a lot more like a space for discovery and musical liberation. We are not "rehearsing" a piece or song... we are creating a unique sound object, each and every time. Enjoy

Short and sweet: another of our extended explorations in the world of musical improvisation. Listen for a dialog between the kalimba and the cello playing pizzicati. A pedal steel guitar provides the line melody. Additional color is added by such unusal instruments as corrugated hoses and berimbau.

Nobody told you in school that a piano could be played not with your fingers but with a cymbal (or, that cymbals could sing when confronted with the rusty guts of an old piano.) Kalimbas can tell whole stories when you listen intently... specially if they are amplified and processed... A toy can be an instrument. YOU are an instrument. Forget what you learned in music school ...
