This version of Purple Sky was recorded LIVE @ producer Derek Olds house one night during a "Rehearsal" session where Jason was supposed to be teaching John Briggs the song so that John could record his Rhodes Piano part to the song. The acoustic rehearsal sounded so good that Derek set up a make shift vocal booth in his guest bathroom so that Jason could record his vocal part while John recorded his part in the other room...LIVE...the first take was the keeper!
