Legacy: To dress like this you gotta really be confident in yourself because when you walk somewhere you’re gonna hear somebody like, “What’s he wearing? Skinny jeans?” So you really need to be on top of your stuff and just…you gotta feel yourself, pretty much. Ben J: You gotta feel your swag and not care what nobody say Legacy: And its dope to be different because right now the different kids, the people who would be considered nerds in the past are now considered the cool kids. It’s real good to be individuals. Ben J: You know I got “nerd” on my shirt Legacy: Yep, and that’s what we did and we here now. Ben J: Yea we graduated, so what? 09! ARE THERE ANY ACCESSORIES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH JERKIN FASHION? Ben J: New Era, shouts out to New Era, I love New Era, all the hats. I always have a colored hat to match my pants or shoes, something to bring out—the least color I have on, I always get something, a hat to match that color to bring that little color out. You know I like colors, I got colors that ain’t even on the rainbow. Legacy: But like jewelry, you don’t even gotta do all that. Like us—I’m normal, that’s because we started off like this, normal, so we try our hardest to relate to the…I try my hardest to relate to all our fans as hard as I can because they can still feel connected to me, you know? If you still kinda look like them in a way… Ben J: I mean, it don’t really matter. To me, I always liked jewelry. Ever since I was little my mom always bought me this chain, so I always liked jewelry. I’d go to the swap meet and get a chain and just always wear a chain. Legacy: But you don’t have to though… Ben J: You don’t have to though, I just like to feel myself with my chain you feel me so, it’s my swag.
