This song's was a favourite of mine 'cos it combined the velvets vibe with country. This is how our guitars sounded live.

Another unreleased song. When we first performed this song it could last over ten minutes. A pretty neat trick considering it had 3 verses and no chorus. I think the guitar riff came from an Orange marching tune. God only knows how I came up with that...We'd throw in bits of Hank Williams, Martin Luther King and anything that came into our heads.

Vicious little song influenced by the band's lifestyle at the time. The Fun Patrol was about our adventures when the clubs closed and how we filled our time waiting for the pubs to open. I told you we were shallow...
We first played this at a soundcheck for a Border TV prog. Mark Wilson heard it, got a tape from the desk, and took it down to London Records with the intention of recording it as our next single. Horne nixed it. A version was recorded as the b-side for the Fly Away single.

Shot in the final months of the band. This song was never released. It's a cheery little number..
