Falling Free is the third track from Bill Palmer's critically acclaimed debut album "Outlines" (ToneFreak records) released independently in early 2008.
The song "Falling Free" was written from Bill's perspective of living life and growing up through some really tough times and some hard knocks from early on in his childhood. It's a song and a story that everyone can relate to at some point in their life.
The story-line for the clip revolves around a young girl and her father and how the low points in life can sometimes make us appreciate what it is we have.
Bill Palmer's album is available on iTunes, CDbaby, Amazon and others as well as in Sanity, Leading Edge and Virgin music stores Australia-wide.
Please repost and share with others - instrumental music is not dead!

Hey here's a B-side tune I wrote some time ago. It's basically a repetitive A-F#m-C#m chord progression with a hip-hop sort of a beat going on. I do lots of impro around the head which is kind of be-bop like in the sense that it's rather busy. Hope you like it...

Hey same kind of thing as the Jazz Blues Impro except this time I'm thinking of just 2 chords: Am7-D7. I'm usually dicking with the D7 and putting extended and altered 9's, 11's and 13's in there

This is just a webcam vid of me improvising to a drum beat and an imaginary bass line... It's something I practice quite a bit, playing through "changes" without any "changes" actually being played by anyone. My guitar is a top of the line Maton Les Paul MS200DLX and from memory I'm just running through a Behringer V-Amp...

A live gig clip from Adelaide band Salty I was involved in. From the same gig and show as "Just Because"... Basically I am improvising over Am-D/F#-G chord changes so I'm using the 'A dorian scale'...

This is the video clip and single from Sydney Singer and Songwriter Ash Hansen's Album "Silent Broadway"...
We shot this out at Homebush in a day... You'll see my black Maton Les Paul style guitar in the clip along with a spiffy brown shirt I'm wearing. That's my Peavey Classic 50 sitting on top of (shock, horror, gasp) a Behringer 4x12 cabinet. Of course being a video clip nothing was actually powered up... It's essentially high octane air guitar

This is live gig footage from an Adelaide band I was involved in called "Salty"... It's a great band with great songs but hey, I'm now in Sydney and they're in Adelaide. For this gig I was using my green Ernie Ball MusicMan Silhouette Special into my Marshall JTM re-issue. The distorted sound is my Boss OD-3 and a touch of Delay hitting the front end of the Marshall...
