Linzi Stoppard and Ben Levi (aka FUSE) launch ‘Share a Stage’. The nationwide competition is on the hunt for a young, talented musician or band to play at this year’s Glastonbury. The winner will join FUSE on stage at Glastonbury this summer. The competition is being run by CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading children’s cancer charity to raise funds for children with cancer. To enter the competition you need to be aged between 13-24 and part of a band or a practicing musician. All those taking part can upload a short film of them performing either alone, or with their band, onto YouTube. The competition runs from March 5 until May 5, all entries will be judged by top music industry professionals, including the team that have run the festival's Emerging Talent competition in previous years. Not only will the lucky winner perform at Glastonbury, they will also get to share a stage with Linzi and FUSE. The aim of this exciting competition is to raise awareness for Practice-a-thon, a CLIC Sargent initiative designed to encourage young people to practice their music and raise money for children with cancer. All schools and groups taking part get to keep 25% of any money raised; the other 75% goes to CLIC Sargent.
