Track from the debut self-titled album, out now! LUCIEN are one of Sweden's leading cult underground hardrock bands. Formed in 2004 when singer/guitarist Greg Hell (previously of UK punk legends Mr.Zippy) joined forces with guitarist Viktor Hemgren (Månegarm, Sorg, Construcdead, Maze of Torment). Lucien play what has been described as "crusty, goth tinged punk-metal (Gravyzine)" or "Dirty garage rock with enough flair to make any stadium cock-rockers cower in embarassment (Siczine)" but the band just call "HELLROCK". In 2007 after countless DIY releases and compilation albums worldwide the band released their debut s/t album on Ireland's DEADLAMB RECORDS. In 2008 this was re-released by Sweden's PLUGGED RECORDS and has been released also in the UK, China, Tiawan and Hong Kong. LUCIEN have toured the UK and Sweden playing with such bands as THE EXPLOITED, MUSTASCH, THE ROBOTS and FABULOUS DISASTER and are hailed as one of the burning torches of Sweden's hardrock scene among a rising invasion of sleazerock imitators.
