TeeJay was born in Houston,Texas but was raised in Dallas,Texas where he was raised by his mom. His career in rhyming began in his earlier years of writing poetry in 5th Grade which from then on was admired by many people. Not knowin much about music after graduating in 2004 from DUNCANVILLE HIGH SCHOOL; TeeJay attended Priarie View A&M where he met a group of talented artists who inspired him become a rap artist. In 2005 he dropped his very 1st mixtape called "Split Personality" which he says "it was just a lil somethin to get my feet wet". He then dropped another mixtape in the Fall Of 05; then came out with a 3 series mixtape called Lone Starz Greatest. Inthe spring of 06 things changed for this southern rapper; he had a talk with two of his close friends King Blue & George Young(producers/artists) to make him an original track for his first single. Which is Let's Dance which we've all grown to love and jam to now at parties & clubs which became a big hit @ Prairie View. TeeJay made tremendous improvements with the help of his right hand man Cash Capone guiding him in the direction he was trying to go business wise. TeeJay is also a member of a group called PTC (Prime Time Click) under the label NGenius Ent. which is Co-Owned By DJ Merk and Cash Capone.
