Sky Parade UK Tour 2008: This is footage from our most recent club tour in the U.K. Following the band from London throughout the U.K. and back to London. Our newest member Joey Rossiter is deported upon arriving in Heathrow and we start the tour off confused, late for our meeting with Gibson and jet lagged. This tour chronicles our Co-Headline tour with fellow rockers, The Dilettantes who feature Joel Gion of the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Through unseasonal snow, rain and cold, the band re-unites with Tour Manager Ed Scott and features candid moments, backstage antics and whimsical meetings with the likes of Will Caruthers (Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Free Love Babies), Genevieve Willis (Truck Festival) and many more... Shot in Glorious Black and White the Video follows its characters through a dark passion driven world which was shot both here in Los Angeles and my old hometown of San Francisco. This is footage from our UK Tour with The Bluetones. After 16 dates in the UK we
headed off to Spain for a week, but unfortunately, there seems to have been no footage from there. Justin Polimeni (Arthur Lee, Kind Hearts and Coronets) helped us out on drums as Dan was out on tour with the Brian Jonestown Massacre. Ironically we run into our friend and original sky parade drummer Plucky as he was also on the road in the UK at that time with the Warlocks. In Oxford we meet up with our friend Mark Gardener (RIDE). Good times, drinks and random moments from the road... The video is about 20 Minutes and may take a little time to load!
