Newborn Productions and ABRV bring you this exclusive Maccabees music video and interview as they head back into their studio to record their second album. After playing to a sell-out crowd at Camden’s Roundhouse, the Maccabees are hard at it again, slogging it out in their Brighton studios in an attempt to produce a sound which will both impress their fans and give them a sense of personal satisfaction.
The Camden Roundhouse gig ended their most recent UK tour and one would expect the boys would need a well-deserved break. But no. As true and dedicated musicians they are currently spending long hours in the studio working through the notoriously difficult process of producing an equally brilliant second album.
We hooked up with boys in their studio and they spoke openly about how they feel about being in a band which has achieved so much success. The Maccabees modest approach to their current fame reflects their warm and down-to-earth approach to both music and life in general. As much as they had hoped they would be successful, it wasn’t something they expected. And nothing makes them happier than producing great music and being able to perform it to their supportive fans.
We are pleased to bring you this intimate interview and extended music video of Brighton’s very own Maccabees.
