    You point about hy­phen­at­ed Amer­i­cans is not true, I know plen­ty of Whites who con­sid­er them­selves "Ital­ian-​Amer­i­can, Irish-​Amer­i­can, even Ar­me­ni­an-​Amer­i­can". I agree we all are Amer­i­can, but is wrong with proud­ly ac­knowl­edg­ing your root­s?
