The CSUN men's basketball team defeated the 49ers 100-61 in a game that was televised on Fox Sports Prime. Five Matadors scored in double-figures, led by Deon Tresvant's 19. Jayme Miller had a career-high 18 points along with 9 rebounds. Calvin Chitwood had 14 points and 7 rebounds in his first game back from a high ankle sprain that cost him two games. Josh Jenkins was once more magnificent at the point, scoring 9 and dishing out 11 assists. Paul Wayne backed up Jenkins with 3 assists and 4 steals. Jonathan Heard had 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists. Tremaine Townsend had 12 points and 8 rebounds after missing the last game. Walk-on guard Rai Colston came in during the final minutes and scored with 12 seconds left to get CSUN to the 100 point mark for the first time this season. CSUN will be back in action at home Thursday night at 7 p.m. against UC Irvine.
