Ash and Misty have arrived in Pewter City. A rock-seller name Flint approaches them and attempts to sell them some rocks. At the pokémon center he learns of the pokémon league and decides to start collecting badges. He heads for the gym and is easily overpowered by Gym Leader Brock. Flint, who happens to be Brock's dad, helps Ash train Pikachu and Ash heads back for a rematch.

Just to clear this up. The 1st episode aired on September 8th 1998 in the US. So Kristin if your 20 then yes you would of been 10 when this show aired.
And Tj you would of been 4 when the show 1st came on. So yea...your wrong

TJ, I'm pretty sure you're mistaken. 14?? I'm 20 and I remember when this came out when I was like 10. You should be at least that age if you remember the older episodes from the Indigo League season! XD I'm still a HUGE Pokemon nerd!
