T.I. - West Hollywood, CA - 10/03/08 <br>written by Kim Cruz<br><br>Why would a group of people line up as early as 5 o'clock in the morning in front of West Hollywood's Key Club? To get into our biggest MySpace Music Release Show – that's why! As doors finally opened shortly after 8:30pm, the eager crowd was once again warmed up by DJ Jay-P & host Trek Life. After much anticipation, DJ Drama took over the 1's and 2's and announced the man of the hour – Mr. "MySpace Double Platinum"- the first signed artist to top 2,000,000 friends on MySpace and who has achieved a mind boggling 100,000,000 total plays on his profile! The King of the South – T.I. <br><br>Taking the stage with a puffy vest, ski cap, sunglasses and jeans, T.I. quickly busted through some fan favorites including "Top Back, Rubber Band Man, Why You Wanna, 24s," songs that featured T.I. like DJ Khaled's "We Takin Over," the remix to Lupe Fiasco's "Superstar," Swizzy's "Swing Your Rag/ "Bring Em Out" and "You Don't Know Me." Much to the delight of the female audience, the vest, cap and sunglasses and even his under shirt eventually came off as he continued to rip through his arsenal of hits. But that wasn't the biggest news of the night… <br><br>As a sampling of M.I.A.'s "Swagger Like Us" played, the one and only, Kanye West came out from the backstage and joined T.I. as the crowd let out the most ear piercing screams of the night. Kanye was given the stage and gave the crowd a sneak peak of his latest album due out in late November. The craziness didn't stop there. A few songs later, the lovely Rihanna joined T.I. on stage as they performed some tracks off of his latest album, "Paper Trail." He ended the night with biggest song in the country- "Whatever You Like" with the club erupting with joy...All hail the King...<br><br>Missed out?
