The destruction of habitat is for very unnatural reasons. We don't adapt to our environment. We adapt our environment to suit us. That's not natural. I know that for evolution there has to be extinction, but we don't need to speed up the process.

Sad. . but. . . it saddens me that people have chosen to place such a high priority on critters, albeit beautiful, that were cosen by natural selection to become extinct. I fear our emphasis on caring for the worlds creatures gets somewhat out of whack.
