WEAK13 PRESS (December 14th 2008)
British rock band WEAK13 has released a disturbing brand new official video '...and D.N.A.' onto Myspace. The song is unreleased and is expected to appear on the forthcoming much awaited WEAK13 studio album due for release on 09/09/09. The video has already caused excitement and controversy with WEAK13 fans as it's a departure from the normal WEAK13 releases. Main man Nick J.Townsend plays all the instruments on the track, stars in the video and gives his most over the top perfomance ever in this dark horror visual masterpiece directed by UK Midland film maker Thomas Lee Rutter.
Already being talked about as one of the most personal and strangest songs ever written by Nick J.Townsend, '...and D.N.A.' is the biggest sounding production ever made by the rocker. Stourbridge producer & engineer 'The Mule' undertook the task of working with Nick J.Townsend in the studio.
"There are a lot of new instruments used in the recording, I wanted to show people I can sound heavy and dark without low-tuned guitars for a change and push Weak13 into a direction never taken before. This is just one track off the album and the rest will be kept secret till nearer the release date".
- Nick J.Townsend (December 14th 2008)
The music video is the third ever offering from WEAK13. Previously Nick J.Townsend has worked with recent award winning film maker Wayne Davies on the 'When U say When' (2006) music video and with Toby Hoare on the 'Death Machine' (2007) music video. In WEAK13's third music video '...and D.N.A.', director Thomas Lee Rutter leaves his horror mark in this shocking reality twisting psychological epic and shows Nick J.Townsend at his very best.
