This ultrasound was done in Ogden, Utah when we went down to have a specialist look at the baby. We were told that our baby has Gastroschisis...which is bowel outside of the body at birth. The baby will go into surgery soon after birth and will be even more perfect afterwards then he/she will be at birth! This is hard to deal with but Chris and I have a ton of support and I am determined to go through the rest of this pregnancy and the trials we face afterwards with a positive attitude and my head held high. I love my child more than life itself and in my eyes there is nothing wrong what-so-ever. :-) To see the Gastroschisis pay attention to the video around 1:10 and near the end and you will see what looks like a mass outside of my babies precious little belly :-)
