Description:
Abstractly, a free field is a field which has a unique solution to any given initial data.
Mathematically, it is described by linear partial differential equations – an approximated solution.
Acoustically, an anechoic space simulates a free field – a representation of a theoretical infinite space in which there is no sound waves reflections.
Visually, the free field consists of theoretical infinite pixels space where a 3D panorama is transformed into 2D plot to form a geometrically distorted pixel space.
