Walking in to the 'unknown' that Jeff insisted I not miss - I left with two new favorites - John Nemeth & Junior Watson. I wish I had video that did them justice - so you'll have to go see them whenever you get the chance! Junior's guitar playing had me mesmerized all nite long. There were times I swear the steam was rising off those strings while the sweat poured from his fingers. Then there's John. Damn. It's been almost a week and I've yet to decide how this guys voice hit me. I've spewed too many words to say 'speechless' - I just haven't found the right way to do this mans vocal talent's justice. Add to that he can blow that harp with the best of em' and I was lost in the music. It'd be unfair to not mention the bass player & drummer who each delivered strong individually as well but more so - with great passion & enjoyment of what they were doing. Jeff - yeah, you were right again. Go figure. Junior & John - hope you get back to the Grand soon!
