I just went on a Roar and Snore Sleepover at the San Diego Zoo. It was a blast! I made a bunch of new friends. I saw lots of new animals. We had great meals. We had smores by the campfire. We went on a night walk to see the nocturnal big cats and hyenas. We had funny shows. We made crafts. There was a scavenger hunt. We saw Rafiki the hedgehog, Priscilla the porcupine, Rio, the double yellow headed Amazon parrot, Tipu the Tamandua (anteater), Victor the echidna (awesome). There happened to be two births! One was a baby panda. The other was a 3 day old female masai giraffe that was a gorgeous 6 ft tall baby! She is beautiful. I added a few other pictures I had taken on early morning Sunrise Surprise tours at the zoo for members. (Really fun!!! It’s early in the morning before the zoo opens, so the animals are wide awake and frisky.)
