The Box­er is a silent play by Matt Lyle. I had its World Pre­miere pro­duc­tion in the Sum­mer of 2007 at the Fes­ti­val of In­de­pen­dent The­aters in Dal­las, TX. This scene fea­tures Jeff Swearin­gen and Kim Lyle.

The play is an homage to the silent slap­sticks of Char­lie Chap­lin and Buster Keaton. It fea­tures a sweet and sim­ple love sto­ry packed with chas­es, rous­ing dance num­bers and cul­mi­nates with a fight with the fear­some Bavar­i­an Beast!
