    I bet Bud­dy back in 2000 when we worked to­geth­er at Lon­eS­tar Steak­house. He was so cool and nice, and I'm not at all sur­prised that he would die for his coun­try. I will nev­er for­get my friend who be­came a hero.

    Bud­dy and I met when we were 16 at church camp in Ten­n. and I miss him w/ev­ery pass­ing day. Thank you for this amaz­ing memo­ri­al in his hon­or.

    Wow. This video made me cry and I didn't ev­er get the op­por­tu­ni­ty to meet Bud­dy James Hughie. He seemed like a won­der­ful guy! This is the BEST video I have EV­ER seen! Again, ab­so­lute­ly won­der­ful!!!

    This is de­fi­nate­ly the best video i have seen about Doc so far.. We made our own over­seas i guess but this one de­fi­nate­ly took me back when he was with us even though i knew him just a few years while serv­ing in the 45th.. I'll miss you bro..

    I met Sgt. Hughie when we were de­ployed togth­er in New Or­leans af­ter the hur­ri­cane in 05. I wrote a sto­ry about him sav­ing a wom­an that had been in her house for a while. He struck me as a great Sol­dier, very pro­fes­sion­al and hon­or­able. Rest in Peace
