This, my 2nd video is kind of an homage to Andrei Tarkovsky. It is not linear. And yet, it is. Incomprehensible and pretentious? Totally! Ever since I saw the Andrei Tarkovsky film Solaris, I've wanted to do a video like the Kelvin's long trip from his father's house where it is not so much about the destination as the movement and passing scenery and the journey lasts far too long for comfort. Also, being mostly a photographer and not a videographer, I thought I'd play to what I think are my strengths, so this video is more about abstract imagery than it is about, say, plot. There is more to it than random imagery but if there's a point to be made, it's an oblique one. I love that word, don't you? Oblique.
