This line features a marriage of traditional men's tailoring with the youthful energy of 'street chic'. Prophesy features tailored dress pants, a pleated dress skirt, tailored blazer, body conforming knit pullovers, and a dressy, zippered-raglan gauze shirt. Strongly inspired by Asian and North American Native costume, this collection incorporates unique pieces, such as a corset, obi, butcher's apron, loin cloth, and bolero bag; not traditionally found in men's clothing. To emphasize this mix of ethnic influences and to pay homage to Canada's Haida ancestry, each ensemble carries it's own unique signature; a hand embroidered native crest. Layering of such items, in a montage of design elements, gives the collection an overall theatrical flavor. The main focus of the collection is androgyny; through the combination of masculine and feminine elements. Each item of the collection can be mixed and matched together, or worn separate to add life to a stale wardrobe.
