George was a 13 yr old who lived just north of Seattle Washington. He was diagnosed with terminal cancer in July 2003 and he was losing the battle. His "Make-A-Wish" was to go to Disney Land. The Dr's. said he would not be able to handle the trip so he was unable to go. His next wish was to go home for Chritmas in a limo and have some of his dad's riding buddies escort him home. We were determined to make this the best escort he had ever seen. In a three day time frame (Dec. 2003), we had three television stations and two radio stations involved along with the Washington State Trooper Motorcade Escort, Seattle police department, Snohomish police, Marysville police, and Camano Island Fire Department. Did I forget to mention about 500 motorcycles to escort George home (for the last time) and thousands of friends and well wishers along the interstate, overpasses and road sides with signs for George. George lived through Christmas and into the new year but cancer won the battle in early January 2004. He knew he was going to die and he accepted it. He was wise beyond his years. He will be missed by his father, mother and brother along with the thousands that will never forget that special ride.
